The Failed Entrepreneur – Success from Failure???

There are many tales from the successful entrepreneur that they themselves initially failed. Indeed a great many of them continue to fail from time to time. They don’t dwell on it. For them it is part of the process.

I’m not a successful entrepreneur, nor am I an abject failure. I experienced over 2 years as an entrepreneur, before returning to the comfort zone of a ‘real job’. I have become obsessed with self deprecating self-analysis. What went wrong? What could I have done better? What will I do ‘if’ I ever become an entrepreneur again?

The interesting thing is that I now realise it is not a case of ‘if’ rather it is purely a question of ‘when’ I will return to the ranks of the ‘entrepreneur’. This change from ‘if’ to ‘when’ has occurred in the last two days. The wounds to my ego, while not healed are most certainly healing. I simply can’t shake the entrepreneurial urges I’ve had almost twenty years. I’ve tried, believe me I’ve tried, but for whatever reason, be it genetic predisposition or my fear of being bored I just can’t ignore the fact that I am an entrepreneur.

This blog is pretty self-indulgent. It is a platform for me learning from my past failings and the failings of other entrepreneurs. If any other current or aspiring entrepreneur can take something from it them that will be an added bonus.
